Getting to
Trancoso
Fly into Porto Seguro International Airport (BPS). Trancoso is about 1 hour 15 minutes from the airport.
Once you arrive, Trancoso is walkable around the Quadrado. Taxis are available for beaches and farther stops, so a car usually is not needed if you stay near the beach and town center. Rent locally only if you plan to explore farther afield.

Or, for the budget route, take an Uber from BPS to the Porto Seguro ferry, cross to Arraial d’Ajuda, then continue by taxi, van, or bus. Renting a car is possible, but ferry queues, navigation, road conditions, and parking can be challenging.

When should we RSVP?

What should we wear?
The dress code is beach semi-formal attire. For women, we recommend block heels or wedges.

Near the Quadrado for the easiest walk to restaurants, shops, and the center of town. See our suggestions above.
